An Urban Food Forest

An Urban Food Forest

Jeff Hansen, our Landscape designer, doesn’t talk much. He’s too busy listening to our clients and making their dreams come true. Hansen transformed Rosenthal’s vision for their backyard into a food forest reality. The design contains fruits like citrus, peaches, and tomatoes along with eggplant, squash, and several different kinds of hot peppers. This is not a complete list by any means. Hansen wove in features for the family like a firepit with sitting wall. For the kids, there are two swing sets and play areas. This is all nestled into with large beautiful rocks and greenery. There is a lot here but it’s tucked neatly behind the Rosenthal home in a beautiful but densely populated subdivision in Gainesville, Florida.
